 　　INDIANAPOLIS (March 5, 2007) -- The Indianapolis Colts re-signed veteran linebacker Rob Morris, who was moved into the starting lineup for the playoffs as the team＇s defense helped spark its run to the Super Bowl championship.

 　　Morris had been an unrestricted free agent.

 　　The 6-foot-2, 240-pound Morris, 32, was the Colts＇ first-round draft pick 2000 draft and was the starting middle linebacker for four seasons before coming off the bench during 2005 and much of last season. 　　He had 48 tackles during the 2006 regular season, followed by 21 tackles, including 17 solo tackles, during the Colts＇ four playoff victories.
